God is not interested in your perfection, rather, in making us Holy. Holy like HE is Holy. Does this feel daunting? In a world that says, “you are enough, just the way you are”, consider a Godly perspective.  

Does He want you to come to Him as you are? YES! His love is open to all, and good works can’t make us deserving of His extravagant grace. But does God leave you as you are? No. Here is the shift. Romans 6 slices the world’s lie that you are enough. The truth is Christ is enough. His saving work on the Cross was and is enough. When your daughter is tempted to believe the lie of “Enough” remind her of her reliance on her Savior, Christ.
