Would Your Girl Bring Her Phone on a Deserted Island?

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things would you bring? Ask girls that question today and you’ll undoubtedly hear “my phone”. Even in a hypothetical scenario, a place with no electricity or cell towers, girls can’t be without their tech! A little scary, isn’t it?

But how might that answer change if you committed to more screen-free time as a family? Spending time outdoors is proven to decrease anxiety, but it also gives girls a chance to learn new skills and have fun!

Put a family campout night on your calendar and stick to it! When you gather in God’s creation, whether in your backyard or a national park, you allow your girl the opportunity to learn and grow without relying on a device.
