Why You Need to Make Mealtime a Family Tradition

When is the last time you sat down with your daughter and family to share a meal without interruption? Chances are, it’s been a while, considering the busy lives many of us lead. Between early school drop-offs and evening sports practices, it can be challenging to eat a meal together.

The truth is, so much good comes from family mealtime conversations. It’s a low-pressure way to go beyond the surface and get into your girl’s heart and mind. What you learn from her can range from feelings of being left out of her friend group to her newfound love of Orca Whales!

Make family mealtime a priority: a space to listen, learn, encourage, pray together, and open the floor for a great discussion.
