Why the Whole Bible Matters to a Christian Girl

Did you know that some Christians weigh the Old Testament as less valuable? In fact, when communicating the Gospel message, some don’t reference the Old Testament at all. So why teach your girl both the Old and New Testaments?

The character of God is communicated all through His story. In order to trust God the Father who sent Jesus, God the Son, we must know His credibility. He pursued a rebellious people in Genesis, Exodus, and time after time following. When God promised in Isaiah that His word will not return to Him empty—so we also trust that EVERY part of Scripture has purpose.

If she struggles to see God’s character in hardship or would rather spend her time in the New Testament, remind your girl of the importance of God’s full story, beginning to end.

Isaiah 55:11, NIV
