Why Keeping Christ at the Center of Dating Relationships Matters

Your daughter might balk at the idea, but successful relationships, especially young Christian ones, must take on a “chord of three strands” approach. With God at the center of a relationship, the fruits of His spirit, like faithfulness and self-control, can blossom.

If inviting God into her relationship sounds like adding a “third wheel”, your daughter isn’t alone. The age-old “leave room for the Holy Spirit” adage is something most teens laugh at, but when understood in the context of faith-filled life, it’s less of a punch line and more of a mindset.

And hear this. If your daughter is ready to invite God in, but her beau isn’t, empower her to stand firm in her faith. When the right, Godly man comes along, he’ll want to honor Christ right alongside her.
