Why Community & Serving are the Antidote to Loneliness

Americans today are struggling with intense loneliness. Harvard researchers report that 36% of all Americans—including 61% of young adults—feel “serious loneliness.”

We are surrounded by people on a daily basis, but our circles grow smaller and smaller, to the point where all we have is ourselves. Cancel culture convinces our girls to close the door on restoration and forgiveness in friendships. Yet another example of the terrifying obscurity that our emotions should dictate our reality.

But loneliness isn’t God’s plan for His people. Community and being of service are the antidotes. Seek out a chance to introduce your girl to a life-giving, Christian community, like an American Heritage Girls Troop! The best part? Friendships for her and you await.
