Why a Morning Dance Party Boosts Her All-Day Mood

Waking your kids up for school is never a fun task for any parent. Groggy-eyed kiddos, or downright mean sleepy teens can be difficult to perk up. I challenge you this week to a morning dance party. Yes, really, a dance party. Dig out an old boom box or crank up your smart speaker and get your kids to join you for an all-out morning dance-off.

Science has proven that listening to music and dancing go hand-in-hand with sustainable happiness. Better yet? Combine the endorphin-boosting moves with Christ-honoring music to further hype the mood. Your daughter might not be a morning person (and you might not be either!) but starting out the day with two to three minutes of uninterrupted praise, worship, and dancing can set the tone for a great day!
