Why a Godly Girl’s Resilience Knows No Bounds Through Christ

Today’s world values a life of convenience and comfort. But as Christians, are not called to an easy life. We’re called to be more.

Equipping your daughter with a spirit of perseverance is required in raising up an overcomer. Find activities, like an AHG Troop or a dance class, that challenge her to stretch and grow past discomfort or ability.

And most importantly, teach her where this spirit of perseverance comes from. Paul famously writes “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” in his letter to the Philippians. Paul shifts his perception and joyfully trusts in God despite his hardship. Teaching girls to trust in the Father while experiencing difficulty instills a sense of graceful poise and Godly perseverance that the world is so desperately devoid of today.
