When the Alarm Goes Off, Choose Bible Over Phone

The alarm goes off, you look to your nightstand, and what do you grab—your phone or your Bible? So often we prioritize the words of friends, family members, and influencers over the Word of God. If you’re in this habit, your daughter probably is too.

Prioritizing God doesn’t mean devaluing your personal relationships… rather, setting healthy boundaries. Start your day with Him. Spend a few minutes with your coffee reading Scripture somewhere visible to your family, like your kitchen table.

As a mom of four, I know how unfathomable it sounds to sit down during a busy morning. But carving out time for rest is essential in the Christian walk. In this case, your example might inspire your girl to join you, showing her there’s always time for God.
