When Innocent Curiosity Opens the Door and Now She can’t Go Back

You’ve likely heard the saying, “Curiosity killed the cat.” But have you considered that the same idea goes for your girl’s innocence in regard to explicit content? Young eyes can’t unsee things after the fact.

When Satan tempted Eve in Genesis 3, he dangled the carrot of what she did not yet know—evil. She knew good because she knew God. But she had not yet understood sin. That notion was so strong for Eve that she gave into it and fractured human nature from there forward.

Just as God cared for Eve through her consequences, God also offers healing for your girl should explicit images enter her space. When you talk with your girl, setting boundaries in love, the Holy Spirit can gently heal her heart in time.

Genesis 3:4-21
