What to Do When Your Daughter’s Friend is Struggling

Do you see your daughter’s friend struggling? Perhaps she’s dealing with a divorce in her family or feelings of inadequacy in school. Oftentimes, the kindness of a friend is a small, helpful way to combat the struggle.

Girls today place great value on their relationships. Friendship is one example of God’s great love for us. Guide your girl to be a source of light in the midst of her friend’s difficulty.

Colossians 3:12 instructs us to live in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Kindness and friendship are essential parts of doing life together but remember: as a parent, you should monitor the wellbeing of both girls and make sure to seek outside help when needed. Small burdens can quickly spiral when not taken seriously.
