The Worldly Hot Take versus Biblical Wisdom

 

Since social media burst onto the scene in the early 2000s, the “hot take” has been a popular currency of information. From the 140-character tweets of Twitter’s early season to today’s massive hashtag followings, the witty bite-sized morsels of opinionated knowledge have affected daily life.  

Is your girl hungry for snack-sized pieces of understanding? Current culture offers her only junk food in the way of knowledge—more than she can fathom and brightly colored, but with no real nutrition for her heart and mind.  

Proverbs 2 is a deep well of timeless wisdom. Talk over verses 1-6 line-by-line with your girl breaking down the difference between the worldly “hot take” and Godly wisdom. Pray for the Holy Spirit to put an appetite in her heart for the feast of His understanding.
