The Responsibility of Her Popularity

Does your daughter have a magnetic energy about her that seems to attract friends in droves? Raising a girl who is kind and inclusive of others is an impressive parenting win! Bravo!

Some girls may be attuned to their inherent popularity, while others may not be aware of the impact they have on their social circles. If you find your daughter to be “popular,” guide her through the important responsibility she has to wield her influence well. Scripture is a great place to start the conversation.

Paul’s Letter to the Philippians instructs us “In humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus” Popularity can be a catalyst to leadership, and as Christians, we should strive to be servant leaders like Jesus.
