Teach Her to Model Christ in Interfaith Friendships

Consider this … your daughter is excited about a new friend. They share the same hobbies, favorite color, and they both peel the crust off their PB&J sandwiches. The biggest difference is that your girl is a Christian, and her friend is not.

God’s word tells us to love our neighbor as ourselves. It also warns against being unequally yoked with unbelievers. Where does this leave your girl and her new friend?

You must ask God for wisdom in assessing whether this friendship could be a hindrance to your daughter’s faith journey.

No matter the direction the Lord leads you to guide your girl, remind her that she is called to always respect, pray, and model Christ through her actions and behavior for all others.
