Talking to Your Daughter About Equality

We live in a fallen world. Within socio-economic classes, races, sexes, or ethnicities, there are individuals who are, unfortunately, at a disadvantage compared to others. In God’s eyes, though, we are all created equal! It’s every parent’s responsibility to teach their children about the importance of exhibiting God’s heart for equality by standing up for others.

David writes in the Psalms “I know that the Lord secures justice for the poor and upholds the cause of the needy.”
Seek out local ministries and organizations devoted to serving the underprivileged, marginalized, and disadvantaged in your community and commit to regularly serving alongside your daughter. Together you can show her how to change the world to be a more welcoming, equal, and love-filled place.
