Self-Discipline is the Key to Avoid Procrastination

Are you familiar with a scenario like this? It’s Sunday night, and everyone is winding down for bed. Your daughter announces that she has a project due on Monday, but hasn’t started it yet!? It sounds like a classic case of procrastinationdoesn’t it?

The key for her to avoid procrastination is self-discipline. In Hebrews, it says, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time… Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”

Train your girl in discipline at home with time-management tools that help her break assignments into small, manageable pieces. Use positive reinforcement as she gets things done. Over time, she will gravitate toward productivity… instead of procrastination.
