Seek Changes for Hands-On Learning to Help Her Develop Life Skills

Raising an independent, curious, and competent girl can be a challenge if you feel like you’re doing so alone! In the age of the internet, learning basic facts is just a click away, but for kids who tend to learn in a very tactile way, how can you expect to really foster new skills and passions?

Consider finding hands-on learning opportunities for your girl, like an American Heritage Girls Troop or an immersive experience at a local museum. Learning new life skills and discovering new passions helps a girl discover who God created her to be.

When a girl begins to recognize the gifts and talents God gave her for things like sewing, astronomy, or archery, she can see other aspects of her life through this same God-honoring lens.
