Make a Way for Your Girl, However She Listens Best

What does listening look like for your girl? If she has neurological differences like ADHD, her version of listening might not mirror typical listening. While it can seem frustrating, how can you and your girl develop a listening rhythm together?

Try different approaches and see what works! For some kids doodling on a notepad or quietly playing with a fidget toy helps. For another utilizing headphones aids in muffling extra background noise so she can focus in on your voice. Don’t be afraid to get creative!

The Lord moved toward His beloved image bearers even in our difficulty. In every approach, maintain a team mindset so your girl is secure knowing that trust and love are built between you both. She will consistently know that you’ve got her back.
