Learning to Filter the World is Essential in Her Biblical Worldview

If she’s ever taken a selfie, your daughter probably has a favorite filter. From dog ears to glistening backgrounds, our camera filters have the ability to change the way we view reality.

Selfies aside, there is value in the action of filtering. A Biblical worldview is something like a filter. When we read Scripture and ask God to open the eyes of our hearts, we see the world around us in a different way. We filter our life through God’s lens.

Next time your daughter is grappling with an issue, have her write a diary entry about it from God’s point of view. Considering God’s perspective is an exercise in strengthening her Biblical worldview.
