What is your family’s strategy on giving? Do you throw a dollar here, $10 there, and drop some change in the offering plate on Sundays? While the joyful-hearted giver is directly addressed in the Bible, how does God feel about your PLAN of giving? Much like a household budget guides and reveals the priorities of the family, so does a plan to steward our financial resources. 

From the ten percent tithing plan to investing in missions or organizations that further God’s Kingdom work, how we approach giving matters. Include the whole family as part of the next family budget meeting and directly set aside time with your girl to talk about giving financial resources to the Lord’s ministry work—whether it be through your local church, through international ministries, or sponsoring a child in need.
