If She Tends to Overcommit, Gently Remind Her of Boundaries

Is your girl a go-getter? When presented with a challenging situation, she always takes the head-on approach. But could that be to her detriment? If her tendency is to “bite off more than she can chew” she might be setting herself up for failure—or worse, a breakdown or illness!

Your girl has “Challenge Accepted Syndrome”, meaning she doesn’t back down from hard things, and she may even be wired to instinctively seek them out. Knowing this can help her recognize and repair some broken habits. She’s only human, so she can’t do everything. And there aren’t enough hours in the day.

Guide your girl to pray for wisdom to know what deserves her energy and what is outside the domain God has given her. This helps her strive under the Lord’s power rather than her own.
