How to Parent a People Pleaser

Have you ever heard of the “Disease to Please?” It’s something that’s easy for girls in today’s culture to fall prey to.

Obsessing about what others think and denying one’s thoughts and feelings to make everyone else happy are just two “Disease to Please” symptoms. Does this sound like your girl?

Teach your daughter that what’s most important is living a life that’s pleasing to God, not people. It’s not worth it to make others happy at the expense of making godly decisions. Proverbs tells us that the “Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.”

The Lord longs for your girl to live faithfully in trusting and pleasing Him, and Him alone.
