Help Your Girl Grow in Grit

Today’s youth are sometimes referred to as the “snowflake generation” which indicates a lack of true grit. To have grit is to have a determined spirit, no matter the challenge.

If your girl throws in the towel at the first glimpse of difficulty, it may be a sign that she has yet to develop true grit. It takes intentionality, but there are ways for her grittiness to grow.

Get your girl out of her comfort zone. Go on a wall climbing adventure together, take her camping on a soggy wet weekend. Encourage her to practice the piano song that’s had her stumped until she gets it just right.

She will learn to run her race with endurance as a “gritty girl” for Christ.
