The information age brings the opportunity to get to know the world around us. But what happens when TMI (Too Much Information) leads to confusion? With so many competing outlets, contradictory opinions, and misinformation mixed with facts, understanding the truth can be downright mind-boggling. 

One practical way to teach your girl how to avoid confusion is to learn how to spot and support the truth. Responsible reading, watching, and listening begins with a basic understanding of how to spot misinformation, or “fake news”.  

When your girl comes to you questioning what she’s learned, put an end to the spiraling confusion by presenting her with truth—Biblical truth. When we turn to Scripture, we find answers. God doesn’t hide the facts of right and wrong from us.  After all, He is the Spirit of Truth.
