Giving Your Daughter a Voice

Does your girl often utter the phrase “I don’t know?” Whether you’re asking what she wants for dinner, her thoughts on the new movie, or why she colored the wall instead of her coloring pages—”I don’t know” may be her go-to answer.

It’s easy for girls to resort to saying “I don’t know” rather than processing your questions or articulating their thoughts and feelings. As her parent, it’s critical to help her find her voice, even at a young age.

The Gospel of Mark urges believers to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” When your girl finds her voice, she not only can clearly express herself, but she can also confidently proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
