Wanting to be a part of a group is a natural desire for many. But what happens if your girl is drawn to the wrong crowd? She may be easily influenced by things like popularity and her longing to fit in. 

Teach your girl that she belongs first to Christ and that she should stand strong in her faith and convictions. Finding places where she can make friends with similar opinions and values, like an American Heritage Girls Troop or a church youth group can aid in forming this strong, holy foundation. 

As 1 Peter states, “But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do…” Lovingly encourage your girl to avoid conforming to the crowd, and instead conform to God.
