Develop a Plan to Protect Your Girl from Explicit Content

What’s the difference between opening up an online game and opening up explicit content on the internet? For kids today—there really isn’t one. Internet searches, random advertisements, app downloads—when left unattended, these can result in some seriously disturbing results.

Rather than pretending like explicit content doesn’t exist on the internet, take control of the situation. Lock down all available parental controls, but don’t stop there. Formulate a plan with your girl on what to do if stumbles across inappropriate content.

Assure her that if she does accidentally see something, instead of hiding it or lying about it, she can bring it to your attention. Eradicate the shame and secrecy by opening up the line of communication, and be ready to honor her honesty and virtue in doing so.
