Courage to Have Hard Conversations With Your Girl

Kids are not the best at engaging in conversation with their parents. The age-old question of “How was your day?” has led to many eye rolls and one-word responses. What happens when there are serious topics that need to be discussed? In this age of cell phone notifications and 24/7 news coverage, these stories are finding their way into your daughter’s life.

It’s important to have conversations that address the tough stuff going on around them. Your girl needs to feel safe and to have space to process the information and ask questions.

Equipping yourself with the tools to build deep and meaningful life-long faith will help your daughter grow in her own faith and deepen her understanding of big issues as they arise. And,… you just might see an increase in girl-generated chats with you!
