Christians See Tech as a Tool, Not a Replacement for God’s Design

Millions of people hold online lives and in-person lives, but the two are not equal. Research shows a correlation between our mental health epidemic and increased connectivity via screens. Worse yet—A.I., or artificial intelligence, is set to replace human relationship.

Is your girl’s relationship with her phone or laptop likened to that of a bad high school relationship?—she’s either elated or destroyed emotionally and her habits appear like that of an addict. Perhaps the next step is an intervention—of unbroken eye contact! Not a staring contest, but truly replacing your girl’s virtual life with human connection.

God’s design for His people is closeness—in heart, mind, and proximity. It’s how we work best! Have candid conversations with your girl about technology as a TOOL rather than a replacement for God’s design.
