What is your girl’s quickest way to lose track of time? Put a screen in front of her and the minutes careen into hours before her eyes. 

Many kids choose to fill their free time with a screen instead of engaging with the real world. They get sucked up in the black hole of social media algorithm suggestions and ‘next episode starting in 3-2-1’. Before you know it, hours tick by. Instead of allowing girls to get sucked into the lure of technology, it is vital that parents embrace people and nature, exploring the amazing world God provided. 

Psalm 27 is clear—we’re meant to live before the face of God and others. Resolve to set aside the digital in place of the tangible in your girl’s everyday, and her time will be redeemed.
