Family Game Night to Slow the Family Calendar

What’s your family’s favorite game to play together? From card games to board games and charades to a rousing volleyball match—family game night can offer a welcomed shift away from the busyness of modern family calendars.

Elementary-aged kids, especially, will soak up the activity-based time spent together as a family. And your teen girl might also crack a smile when she wins a round of Twister! Joy in togetherness is a natural outflow of a healthy Christian family’s life. So carve out a weekly or once-a-month night on the calendar to put some healthy snacks on the kitchen counter for easy grazing and line up the game options. Or invite a close family to share in the fun. Then settle in for splendid family memories together—complete with giggles, cheers, and excitement!

Psalm 133:1
