Why the Gospel Message is Truly Lifesaving

From American Red Cross’ and American Heritage Girls’ Lifesaving Awards to the American Heart Association’s Heartsaver Hero Award, everyday heroes exemplify courage and bravery when opportunity arises. Could your girl be an everyday hero in the Kingdom of God?  

If we equate a person’s salvation in Christ as truly life-giving—which it is—then would your girl’s mission to spread the gospel be the same as “saving lives”? Well, yes, in a way! Romans 10 shows the urgency—the EMERGENCY—that bearing the Good News comes with. As you read this Scripture with your girl, help her see those around her with heavenly lenses the way Jesus did. 

While CPR and first aid are vital skills to know, proclaiming the Good News of Christ bears the far-reaching glory of life forevermore!
