Biblical Alignment and Culture Rarely go Hand-in-Hand

The Bible is controversial! Like it or not, most people have an opinion on the Bible—its authorship, its purpose, its application. What’s the safest way to handle this conversation? Hang it up as helpful information? NO! There are implications of putting the Bible in the same information stack as the news, a funny meme, or self help. 

Christians believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God. So, as a Christian, there’s no cultural safe place in your Biblical opinion. If your girl finds herself at odds with the world by remaining loyal to her Bible, then she’s in the safest place spiritually! 

Write some “I believe” statements with your girl about faithfulness to the Bible. Post them around the house and make it your Christian Family Declaration!
