What are the benefits of teaching your girl about other world religions? While it’s wise for faithful parents to teach the Gospel to their kids from a young age, when those same children begin to proclaim the good news….they quickly realize MANY don’t receive it—and some are even opposed to a Christian worldview. 

Throughout history, God’s people have found themselves as foreigners telling the world about His goodness. Whether Israel in Babylonian exile, or Paul preaching in Athens, we are called to “be ready” in every season to preach the good news.  

Readiness happens incrementally at home through faithful discipleship. Talk to your girl about different religions, specifically their views on Jesus Christ. In this way, you’re training her for readiness when it’s time to speak for God’s Holy Name.
