With a struggling economy, your family might be experiencing job loss, financial hardship, or food insecurity. Tough choices in family budget might eliminate outings or a new outfit for your girl.  

These measures can lead to disappointment, and your girl might respond either in anger and defiance or in sadness and despair. Her prayers might sound something like, “God, what are you doing? Why do I have to suffer?”  

The Lord loves her honest heart! I’ve heard it said, “What often appears to us to be a mess of knots is just the back view of the tapestry God is weaving.” In her struggle, take your girl to God’s Word to teach her His Faithfulness and Love helping her to see His beautiful work in her life.
