If you’ve watched the news lately, you’ve seen the epidemic of violence wrecking our world. School shootings, riots, muggings—violence invades and destroys. Violence stems from Satan and the Bible says he seeks to “steal, kill, and destroy.” Have you talked to your girl recently about the ROOT of violence in our world? 

Like many of sin’s roots, violence starts in the heart. Anger unchecked simmers up until its outlet becomes violent acts. Psalm 4:4 says our anger should not result in sin. Violence is anger boiled over. How do you guide your girl through anger? 

Pray with her about turning any roots of anger over to the Lord. His sovereign control has every situation handled, and if she waits on Him to move, God will make all well in His righteous wisdom.
