Reach Out to Her When She Struggles to Ask for Help

Your girl is shouldering more stress and difficulty than usual. Chances are she isn’t going to ask for help when she needs it. Regularly checking in with your girl is a great start to keeping an open line of communication, but simply asking how she’s doing probably isn’t the most effective way of showing her true empathy.

Ask your girl “How can I support you today?” This question puts her in a healthy space of evaluating what she needs, and then asking for help.

David writes in the Psalms: “My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” It’s true, our help does come from God the Father, but it’s also vital that we accept help from our fellow man!
