Your Girl will Learn About Female Friendships Through Your Example

“I’m not good at making friends with other women.”

How often have you heard these words or spoken these words in your own life? How many times has your daughter heard these words? Consider this: if our girls don’t see that we value the interaction and connection with other women, how can we emphasize the importance of true friendships to them?

It is hard for some women to make friends with other women today because they were never taught how to make and keep friends as a young girl. Give your daughter the opportunity to make forever friends. Raise her to have a servant’s heart, and she’ll be ready to gain and become a true friend. Finding an environment where she can meet like-hearted girls, like a church group or an American Heritage Girls Troop, is a great place to start.
