Your Girl, The Animal Lover

Think back to when you were a girl. What was your favorite animal? Maybe you had a love of horses, dogs, and rabbits. Many girls go through a season of animal obsession.

Multiple studies over the last 30 years have shown that interaction with a pet can lower human blood pressure, which is a sign of reduced stress. As we care for animals according to God’s design in Genesis 1, it turns out that their care for us can benefit our bodies and our minds!

Consider the benefit of allowing your girl regular interaction with a pet by volunteering at a shelter or joining a dog reading program at the library. It might just set her heart at ease. You’ll see a new joy all over her face!
