Your Girl has the Holy Spirit, but She is NOT the Holy Spirit

Sometimes the Lord convicts Christians of various sins at differing times. Christ-followers are on the sanctification journey by the power of the Holy Spirit in us, but each is on her own calendar with the Lord at the helm. So how does your girl handle God showing her a particular sin, but her friend isn’t fazed by the same in her own life? 

If your girl is angered that God is refining her heart in one area but not others, perhaps she needs some mature understanding. Apart from the 10 Commandments, it’s possible her friend might not be wrestling with a particular sin, remind her that patient grace goes along way.  

While your girl has the Holy Spirit, she is not the Holy Spirit, and He doesn’t offer once-size-fits-all conviction.
