Why Smartphone Safety is More Important than ever for Kids

I’ve heard the smartphone compared to being the new “Swiss Army knife”. Smartphones are powerful tools with so many uses—telephone, camera, wallet, and more. But just like a multi-tool, with all its sharp blades and gizmos, on-going safety lessons are crucial!  

Kids in the U.S. acquire smartphones at the average age of 10 years old. While our girls are getting technology at younger and younger ages, the technology they’re receiving is getting more and more robust. Just as you wouldn’t give your young child a sharp knife without safety lessons, it’s crucial that you set safety parameters before giving your girl a phone. 

Matthew 25 reminds parents that God has given us His children to protect—and today, that includes establishing smartphone safety!
