Why Prayer is the Most Effective Way to Bring Her to the Lord

Is your girl’s heart burdened for a friend who doesn’t know the Lord? If she’s come to you desperate for creative ways to communicate the gospel to her friend—let your soul smile! But know that no matter how clever she preaches Christ, it’s not her job to change their heart. 

Prayer. Prayer is the key to effective evangelism. Tell her to pray fervently! 

“You should never talk to someone about God unless you’ve first talked to God.” This is not a new idea though! In John 17, we see that Jesus talked to God the Father about US in the Garden of Gethsemane. So, if Christ trusted the Holy Spirit to cultivate the seed of faith, your girl should also. Pray with her for the lost—then trust in the Lord’s work.
