In a recent survey of adolescents, 51.5% responded that they prefer to watch content surrounding friendship rather than romantic relationships. Many Christian parents have been concerned that media has pushed romance too early and too often on impressionable kids. But there’s a reason the epidemic of loneliness has not let up but GROWN in the last 10 years. Humans are wired for relationship, but shallow romance wasn’t the answer. Culture missed the mark. What young people are aching for a place to belong with loyal friends and those who never leave. 

Your girl’s longing for belonging is satisfied in a variety of ways—direct relationship with the Lord who will never leave or forsake her, a loving family to guide and support her, and longstanding connection with a Godly community of friends.
