Whether in Need or Giving Care: Your Girl’s Friend Connection

When a girl is experiencing common mental health struggles, like anxiety and depression, she will often confide in a friend. That means that even if your girl isn’t struggling, she could face a friend in crisis.

Before a friend confides in your girl about these serious issues, teach her that she has the power keep her friends safe.

Equip your girl to help her friend by getting the real help she deserves. While she might be the first person to know about serious symptoms, she can’t be the last to know. Come alongside your daughter in praying for her friend, talking with her parents and other trusted adults, like a pastor and school counselor, and remind her that no matter what, she did the right thing in seeking help.
