Where does your daughter feel closest to God? For some, the mountains are cathedrals, but for others, the familiarity of a church can’t be replaced. We know God is everywhere, always available to us—but as creatures of habit, it’s reassuring to have a place where you know you can always feel connected.

Encourage your daughter to find her sacred space. Years ago, a movie inspired Christians across the world to spend more time fighting spiritual battles in their closets of all places! When the Spirit is everywhere, anywhere can feel sacred.

When she finds her spot, send her off with the words of Psalm 17:6, “I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.”
