Social media, magazines, television… they inform us of what’s the latest, greatest, and “trending” in today’s culture–it’s hard to miss.

While raising your girl to be Godly, you will find yourself at a crossroads between what is “trendy” and what is righteous. Perhaps your daughter wants to dance, and you’re conflicted about which style is appropriate. Or maybe she has her eye on a fancy dress that isn’t modest. Often, what’s trendy isn’t always what’s pleasing to God.

In fact, Matthew’s Gospel urges us to choose the narrow road that leads to life, and avoid the broad, or most culturally trendy road which can lead to destruction. Take your tough decisions about your girl to God. He will guide you down the best path.
