When a teenage girl flippantly retorts through tears, “who cares?” have you considered there’s something deeper going on in those two words? Rather than asserting that she doesn’t care, what if she’s crying out because she thinks NO ONE CARES? 

The last few years revealed a frightful mental health epidemic in our country, especially among young people. With the 2021 report of a 51% increase in attempted suicide among adolescent girls, the issue of mental health no longer patiently sits at the back of the line. But how can we help? 

Remind your girl that someone DOES care, and His name is God. He cares so much that He gave his Son Jesus—Himself—to rescue her from a life void of purpose. God cares. In fact, He loves her so much!
