Ever found yourself consumed with worry that you’re not doing enough to parent your daughter well? Many women unintentionally idolize their children and put every ounce of energy into pleasing them. Even coming from a well-intentioned heart, this lives outside of God’s design for the family.  

If you want to give your best as a mother, consider giving your best as a wife. Your covenant was to your husband first, and your healthy marriage offers your daughter a Godly example–one that she can model in her future as a way to honor the authority of the home.  

From Genesis forward, we see that the family design mirrors God’s heart for The Church, His people. In seeking the Lord’s heart, pray for Him to guide you in His will for your home.
