Wearing Symbols of Her Faith: What it Means to Your Girl

Historically the Christian faith has had with outward symbols to represent a person’s soul allegiance—the icthus or the Christian fish symbol during early Church persecution, to the Cross of Christ worn for the past few centuries, and even today’s t-shirts bearing the Truth of God’s Word on display.

If your girl is excited to wear her faith on her sleeve, so to speak, don’t hold her back! This is a sign that her boldness and trust in her faith is growing—a very good thing! But always keep her rooted in Christ-likeness rather than consumerism, as cultural Christianity is deceptive and deadly to the soul.

These days faith symbols are under increasing scrutiny, so help your girl to see that wearing her faith and living her faith can go hand-in-hand.
