Understanding Gender Identity as a Spiritual Root

God designed each person with tender, loving care. But a recent Barna Study found that “seven out of 10 teens believe it’s acceptable to be born one gender and feel like another.”

Scripture tells us time and again that God created us with meaning and without mistake. In Jeremiah we learn that God knew each of us before we were conceived in our mother’s womb. In the Psalms we’re reminded that before we even speak, God knows the words on our tongues. In Galatians, we’re affirmed that each of us was set apart for God’s glory.

This concept of “gender fluidity” isn’t something we can ignore. Affirm your girl that real self-love is acceptance that God has masterfully created her, in this body, in this time, for a purpose.
